Hi Mark,

Ok, forget what I wrote b4. It is only printing what is visible on the screen. Not Whole documents, I found this one out when I maximized Net+ and it

printed only to where I could see that last bit of info on the page. Oh well Still a step in the right direction :P

That's very strange.
What BeOS version do you use?
And what are the results using the Preview printer add-on?

Well I am using BeOS version 5.0.1 . The Print Preview does the same
thing. And as of for the PS: you do not have to bcc me, since Im on the
list. And if this would help, is there a way I can get Debug output on
the print_server so I can just send the information to you on the list?
Oh well I have to go.

Can you please upgrade to version 5.0.3 and tell me the results.

Debug output. There is not much. You can run the print_server
from Terminal, by running the install script from there. But I am not
sure if this will be helpful.

Maybe you can send me a job file? Simply print using the
Preview printer and then when the preview window appears
don't close it and look into the folder home/settings/Printer[s]/Preview
and zip that file inside it and send it to me.

Since I work with Disk Images I would rather not upgrade to 5.0.3 but if
there is a work around for the Disk Images that cause KDL, then Im all
for it. As of for debug info, Im working on that.

Ok. If possible send two job files one created using the Be print_server
and one using the OBOS print_server. Printing the same document
and with the same settings.

I've been using the OBOS print server without any new problems.
(New problems meaning problems that I didn't have before with
the R5 version.) I just switched over to the latest from CVS.
Is there any way to get it to run "hidden"?

The version in cvs is beta 1.

file of the print_server with FileTypes and set the corresponding flag
and then rebuild it. cvs does not support file attributes, that's why
this and other settings are lost in the repository...

Have to correct myself. These settings are not stored as
file attributes in the *.rsrc file. It should be possible to set
the "Background App." flag with ie. QuickRes.

There is no need to hurry. We should only find out what causes
the problem and fix it before the release of OBOS R1 ;-)
